RICHARD E. SCHADEN

Rick Schaden is Founder & Chairman of Consumer Capital Partners, and is actively involved in building the firm into a nationally recognized private investment, concept development, strategic advisory and causal marketing firm. Mr. Schaden is also the Founder, Chairman and majority shareholder of Quiznos, building it since 1991 from 18 franchises to over 5000 worldwide today.

Mr. Schaden's philanthropic activities are focused around an innovative new model of philanthropy that he calls "causal capitalism" which leverages consumer insight and best business practices to create modern channels for giving. Specifically, Mr. Schaden and his family actively support initiatives focused on ending world poverty through Millennium Promise, CARE, and UNICEF. Mr. Schaden also focuses on domestic family homelessness and related issues through the support and development of America's Road Home, a 501(C)(3) public charity initially funded by Mr. Schaden, his wife Cheryl, and Mr. Schaden's father, Richard F. Schaden. Mrs. And Mrs. Schaden recently received the national "Home for Every American" award from the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness for their support of America's Road Home, which intends to fund the eradication of family homelessness on a national level. The award was presented by Philip Mangano, Executive Director for the Council and the federal government's point person on homelessness. Locally Mr. Schaden is focused on helping high performing low opportunity children achieve their full potential thru Smart-Girl and Kent Denver.

Mr. Schaden has won numerous industry and business innovation awards and distinctions and served on White House advisory councils. Mr. Schaden graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Management and Finance.
 

RICHARD F. SCHADEN

Richard F. Schaden, an aeronautical engineer, business man, restaurateur, and highly experienced trial lawyer, is also a founding partner of Consumer Capital Partners, a nationally recognized private investment, concept development, strategic advisory and causal marketing firm. In addition, Mr. Schaden is a founding partner of Schaden, Katzman, Lampert and McClune, a prominent internationally recognized aviation and public interest law firm. Mr. Schaden is a former officer of Quiznos, and continues to be the majority shareholder of the company along with his son Rick. 

Mr. Schaden has become a leading philanthropist in the areas of family homelessness, oceanic preservation and public interest legal representation. Specifically, Mr. Schaden and his family actively support initiatives focused on ending world poverty through Millennium Promise, CARE, and UNICEF. Mr. Schaden also focuses on domestic family homelessness and related issues through the fund and development of America's Road Home, a 501(C)(3) started by Mr. Schaden, Mr. Schaden's son, Rick Schaden and his wife Cheryl Schaden. America's Road Home intends to fund the eradication of family homeless on a national level. Mr. Schaden has also been a long-term supporter of the Community Food Share program in Boulder, Colo., Denver's Road Home (a partner of America's Road Home) and the Oceanic Preservation Society.

Mr. Schaden has been a visionary in the development of ground-breaking private/public partnership in the area of legal philanthropy. Mr. Schaden's on-going support of the University of Colorado's School of Law has helped numerous students obtain real world legal experiences through trial advocacy competitions and clinical programs as well as bringing legal representation to those who might otherwise have fallen through the cracks of the traditional legal system due to a lack of access to quality legal representation.

Mr. Schaden holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Detroit, attended graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Wichita State, and has a Law Degree from the University of Detroit.

Mr. Schaden is a commercial pilot with current air transport jet ratings.

Mr. Schaden currently lives in Boulder, Colo.

 

CHERYL SCHADEN

Cheryl Schaden combines her marketing savvy with a passion for youth mentoring and support of homelessness issues, dedicating a majority of her time and resources to philanthropic endeavors focused on family homelessness, extreme poverty and assisting high-potential/at-risk youth. Along with her husband, Rick and his father, Richard F. Schaden, Mrs. Schaden founded America's Road Home which intends to fund the eradication of family homelessness on a national level. Mr. And Mrs. Schaden recently received the national "Home for Every American" award from the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness for the formation of America's Road Home. The award was presented by Philip Mangano, Executive Director for the Council and the federal government's point person on homelessness.

Mrs. Schaden is also actively involved with the development of Smart-Girl, a Colorado-based non-profit that gives adolescent girls the skills they need to make smart choices and become confident, capable, self-reliant young women. In addition, Mrs. Schaden actively supports many organizations focused on helping people of all ages meet their full potential including the Beacon Center, Children's Hospital of Denver, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, and the Ekal Vidyalaya Movement which is a charitable trust the initiates, supports and runs non-formal, one teacher schools in rural and tribal India.
